CactuShop is an ASP (Active Server Pages) application for running an e-commerce web site. It incorporates a databased catalogue system, front end pages for product navigation, back end pages for updating product details and robust basket code for memorizing product selections as a visitor moves around the web site.
The ASP pages contain embedded code in VB-script that runs at the server. This code links to the database, pulls product and other information out and then formats the HTML dynamically. The result can be viewed by any web browser - it is standard HTML. The software consists of a number of ASP scripts and an Access database file. The version we ship is virtually identical to our online demo - it even contains the same demo data to help get you up and running quickly.
